When the moment of joining the EU arrives, Montenegro will be completely ready, as Central Bank Governor Nikola Fabris announced, adding that should't be expected that someone will raise the question about the possible abolition of the euro, but what conditions we have to fulfill so that we can become a member of the European Monetary Union, said Fabris in an interview with Mina-business. Fabris recalled that Montenegro, in order to become a full member of the eurozone, will have to fulfill the Maastricht criteria, which refer to the level of public debt and the level of the budget deficit.
